Fr. Peter V. Armenio
Fr.Peter V. Armenio, born in New York,
NY 1954 and later graduated from Bergen
Catholic High School in Oradell, NJ. He then went on to receive his BA in
Biology from Boston University in1976. Published an Abstract in the Journal of

Fr.Peter
V. Armenio, born in New York, NY 1954 and later graduated from Bergen
Catholic High School in Oradell, NJ. He then went on to receive his BA in
Biology from Boston University in1976. Published an Abstract in the
Journal of Cell Biology in 1974. He worked in biological research at Harvard
Dental School while an undergrad. Studied Theology and Philosophy at the
Roman College of the Holy Cross (Seminary for the Prelature of Opus Dei in
Rome), 1976-1979. Then in 1996 he received his Doctorate in Philosophy
from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross with Summa Cum Laude.
Fr. Armenio was ordained a Priest in 1980. His pastoral ministries involve
Spiritual Direction to men and women of all ages, Spiritual Direction to Priests
and Candidate for the Seminary, Pastoral Work with Inner City children, Retreats
and Days of Recollection, Conferences on Different Theological Issues, Courses
in Theology and Philosophy
President of the Board of Directors of Midwest Theological Forum since 2000.
He also serves on the editorial board for In addition, Midwest Theological Forum publishes books that assist both priests
and laity in their spiritual life and doctrinal education.)
He has served as chaplain of Lexington
Institute ( presently a 4-year women’s college affiliated with the Prelature of
Opus Dei), 1981-1986, of Willows Academy, 1993-2000 (Girls Middle School and
High School, whose religious education and formation is entrusted to Opus Dei),
assistant chaplain at Northridge Preparatory High School, 1993-1995 (Boys Middle
School and High School, whose religious education and formation is entrusted to
Opus Dei), and as a catholic chaplain to the Chicago Bears since 1994.
Involved in Campus Ministry at the
Catholic Student Center at University of Chicago since 1988. Worked on the Staff
of the Vicar of the Prelature of Opus Dei for the Midwest from 1988-2000. Vicar
of the Prelature of Opus Dei for the Midwest since May of 2000. Monthly
appearance on Relevant Radio (Catholic Radio based In Green Bay WI).
